AGGRESSIVE TRADE POLICY.

ACTION BY CANADA.

An aggressive trade policy, for the extension and development of Canadian trade, domestic and foreign, was announced in the Canadian House of Commons by Sir George Foster, Minister of Trade and Commerce.

The first stop will be the establishment of an official clearing-house for the supply of commercial and business information about Canada and foreign countries. A conference will be held between representatives of the railway, manufacturing, and business interests of the country to formulate plans for Canada's industrial future after the war. In addition, a commission of Canadian business men will shortly leave for Europe to study means of developing Canadian commerce.
