j Yesterday's sitting of the MagisI diito'ii Court was presided over by Sir. ) W. G. Riddel], S.JI., and was brief. For insobriety, John Evans was lined Ids., and \\m. M'.Mimler was lined :>s. and prohibited. Daniel ICeane, alias Samuel Kane, who pleaded not guilts' to two charges of theft of boots, leggings, and trousers, was sentenced to a mouth's imprisonment.
