THOROUCHBRED HORSE SALE.
RACE WEEK AT PALMERSTON NORTH. We draw horse owners' attention to the tboroughbred horse sale to be held at Palmerston North on Thurs-. day, December 2S, by Abraham and' Williams, Ltd. The Manawatu Racing Club's Christmas Meeting will be held on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday, and the firm has arrange,! to hold their sale between the second and third days. A limited number of .horses will be accepted for this sale, and to enable a catalogue to be compiled entries positively close on Saturday next, December 16. Thoso having horses to .soil will please send full particulars relating to pedigree. HORSE SALE AT PALMERSTON. In another column Messrs. Abraham 'and Williams, Ltd., advertise particulars of a horse sale they are holding on Saturday -next at their Horse Emporium, Grey Street. The entry comprises a consignment of 100 light horses from Hawke's Buy, and those wanting horses at their own price are recommended to make a point of attending the sale. There will also .be about. 20 draughts, hacks, and light horses, on. account of other vendors. Several good crops of lucerno have recently been Harvested in the Masterton district. J Shearing operations aro well forward in the Masterton district, and largo quantities of wool aro arriving at the local railway station.
