RAILWAY TRAVELLING RESTRICTIONS
"OUTCRY AT CHRISTMAS CURTAILMENT. (Rec. December 13, 8.5 p.m.) London, December 12. As tho result of public protests, the War Office haß decided that it will be impossible to enforce tho railway restrictions before the end of the year, and therefore the same proportion of tioops in Britain will epend their Christmas at home as was the case in 1915.—Au5.-N.Z. Cable Assn. [The railway restrictions referred to are reduced trains at holiday time, and travelling cut down to a minimum.]
