THE STANDARD 01? MILK,

In tho Supreme Court, on. Saturday, Mr. T. Neave (representing Henry Bodley) argued an appeal against: the conviction of Bodley for selling milk which was not up to standard. Mr. Ncavo contended that the standard was too high, and ought to be reduced. The vendors claimed that tliey sold the milk just as it came from the cow, but at this time of the year, the milk did not always reach the standard which bad been set. The Chief Justice (Sir Robert Stout) reserved decision.
