Meals'-'werc, of course, a principal item, and afternoon tea was provided, and everything from an ice cream to a cup of tea could be obtained. About G o'clock in the evening dinner was served, and also again at 7. o clock, as there were too many to be seated at one time The dinner was indeed,a creditable affair, taking into Consideration that about four hundred had to be provided for Besides this there were eight tennis courts, and a large lawn reserved for Remington guests, 'and the bathing-sheds were open to all. t In the evening a small concert with a few very good items was given, and then dance music was struck up, and the lawn turned into a dancing floor.
