From 15th Docembcr, 1916, to 7th January, 1917, inclusive, oxtra express trains, will run between Wellington and Auckland as under:—. FOR AUCKLAND.—-Wellington (Thorndon) dep. 2.0 p.m., Auckland arrive 7.50 a.m. following day. This train will leave Wellington on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays, but not on Sundays. Tho first day on which the extra express train will leave Wellington will be Friday, 15th December,' 1916. On the days that this train runs, the ordinary 1.10 p.m. Wellington-Auckland express train will take passengers from Wellington only for Taihapo and stopping stations beyond Taihapo and for stations beyond Woodvillo ,on Napier line, and will not tako up passengers at Palmerston North-Mercer or intermediate stopping stations. Passengers from these stations must travel by the Wellington-Auckland extra express train leaving Wellington at 2.0 p.m., Palmersleu North 5.22 p.m.; by tlio Palmerston. North-Auckland additional express train leaving Palmerston North 3,18 p.m. (on 21st, 22nd, 23rd December, Ist, 2nd and 3rd January only'; 6eo below), or by the Summer express train leaving Wellington at 9.10 p.m. ■ FOR WELLINGTON.—AuckIand dep. 9.52 p.m., Wellington (Thorndon) arr, 3.59 p.m. This train will leave Auckland od Sundays, Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays, but not on Saturdays. The first day on which the extra express train will" leave Auckland will be Friday, 15th December, 1916. On the days that this train runs, the ordinary 8.50 p.m. Auckland-Wellington express train will take passengers from Auckland only for Waiouru, Taihapo, and stopping stations beyond Taihapo, and will NOT take up passengers at any stopping station betweon 'Morccr. and Palmerston North (both inclusive), except for and from Waiouni.
