LODGE MEETING
The Prido of Brooklyn Lodge, U.A.O.D. No. 58, held its half-yearly meeting on Thursday evening. A .1). Bro. Cronk presided. The receipts for tho last meeting totalled XBl 7s. fld. Tho lodgo is still fortunate in having no sick members. Tho half-yearly balance-sheet ■ was read and adopted. An invitation was received from "Pacific" to attend an open installation' and ladies' night, and the lodge decided to. pay an official visit on Monday next. An invitation was also received from "Molrose" to witness tho presentation of the Ritual Shield, recently won by them, and presented by .the Royal Arch Chapter, on December 19. Tho installation of officers took place, D.P. Bro. Abel performing the ceremony. P.A. Bro. Mihaney acted as M.C., all officers being present to tako up their respective places. The visitors who favoured tho lodge with their attendance were D.P. Bro. Abel, No. 2 District, A.D. Bro. Parkins (Excelsior) and P.A. Bro, Bonifaco (Island Bay).
