ROSE AND CARNATION CLUB

At the meeting of tho above club, held on Thursday evening, it was announced that the not profit of the re-: cent Patriotic llose Show amounted-to £51 lis. 3d. This amount is to be equally divided between the Mayor's AVounued Soldiers' Fund and for the purchase of roses for further planting the roscry at Newtown Zoo. The committee t express their thanks and appreciation to all those ladies who "worked so assiduously in making the show so successful. The Sweet Pea and Carnation Show will be held on January 6, and the whole of tho net proceeds will be devoted to tho Wounded Soldiers' Fund.
