Mr. Newton King reports:—At Urenui on November 27 there was a good yarding of stock and brisk competition, nearly everything being sold at the hammer at current rates. Pat shorn wethers made 355.; springing heifers, good, £10 to £11 155.; medium, £7 ss. to £8 10s.; fat cows, £12 .to £15 55.; forward cows, £10 to £11 10s.; store cows, £8 2s. 6d. to £8 155.yearling steers. £7 10s. to £7 14s. 6d.; yearling heifers, £5 125.; bulls, £10 ss. to £5 10s. At- Stony River on November 28 there was a fair yarding and attendance, and good bidding. Yearling lieifers made £6 12s. 6d. to £7 2s. 6d.; two-year empty heifers. £8 Is. to £8 45.; store cows, £8 3s. to £9 Us.; fat do., £11 17s. to £12 35.; springing cows, £13 55.; springing heifers. £12 10s.; bulls, £9 ss. to £13 17s. 6d. At Waiwakaiho on Friday there was a good yarding and keen competition for all lines. Ewes and lambs made 515., springing cows, £13 to £16 10s.; springing heifers, £8 ss. to £8 10s.; eighteen-month to two-year heifers, £8; twelve to eighteenmonth do., £7 3s. to £7 95.; mixed weancrs, £2 125.; store cows, £9 to £10 155.; fat and forward cows, £11 to £11 19s. 6d.; bulls, £9 to £18 15s.
