» FORECAST AND SUMMARY AT 4 P.M. YESTERDAY. Present indications are for high arid squally northerly and westerly winds, the barometer falling everywhere. Expect unsettlod and cloudy, weather, with rain in most parts of the country, but sultry conditions arc likely to continue; for a time in the East Ooast districts^ An anti-cyclone has progressed very slowly to the eastward 6ince Sunday, and has delayed the advance of a disturbance which has been developing to the 'westward, causing threatening conditions.
