MANUFACTURE OF RENNET.
A.HASTINGS INDUSTRY. A Sydney cablegram recently spoke of tho scarcity of rennet, and tho experiments, that were being made with calves' veils. Those interested in the cliccse-making industry- in New Zealand will be pleased to learn that relief is likely to como locally, as a Hastings firm, the Yello-i'ompany, lias commenced the manufacture of rennet, the quality of which is equal to tlie imported article, the company having received the New Zealand Government certificate to that effect. The Velio Company have rennet now ready for market, and they anticipate next season being in a position to supply the needs of the whole of the Dominion.—Published by Arrangement.
