The mine manager's report for the week ending November 23:—The drive north at ,300 ft. level has been advanced 10ft., making total driven 238 ft. north, with no change in country being penetrated, which is a mild andesite, containing strong mineral and quart?., veins, and in parts requires timbering with light posts. In west drossout work has been continued, and a fairly strong body of quartz is showing in face,' having a northerly course, with foot-wall not.yet exposed. Further work will be carried out at this point during the coming week, and samples taken for assay. Our north drive now being run slightly west of north should meet with this quartz as wc advance. Machinery is working well, and little or no haling from shaft is required.
