MIDDLE OF JANUARY BEFORE NORMAL SUPPLIES TO HAND. By Telegraph-Press Association-Ooipyriglit Melbourne, December 2. It is announced that the Navy Department and the Government urgently need so many thousands of tons of coal that it will be fully the middle of January before sufficient supplies are available to enable, industry to revert to the normal. MINES ALL READY. TO START. (Eec. December 3, 5.5 p.m.) Sydney, December 2. The mines are now in rea3iness for the general resumption of work tomorrow. —
