ANOTHER NAVAL LIE
CRUISER NEWCASTLE SAID TO HAVE BEEN SUNK. (Aust.—N.Z. OaMe Assn. end Renter.) (Rcc. November 30, 8.20 p.m.) London, November 29. Referring to a German statement that the cruiser Newcastle was either mined or sunk on November 15, that 27 of the crew wero dead, and 45 wounded, tho Admiralty denies tho story as a fabrication. "No vessel," it is said, "was sunk in the North Sea between November 12 and 18."
