NORWAY AND THE PIRATES
GERMANY MAY YIELD SOME OF THE DEMANDS. Australian-New Zealand Cable Association. Amsterdam, November 29. An apparently inspired Note published in the German newspapers foreshadows the possibility of Germany yielding some of Norway's demands. The Note does not' mention the Norwegian order prohibiting submarines entering territorial waters, but promises that German commanders will take precautions to save the crews belonging to ships which they are obliged to sink.
