SIR JOHN JELLICOE AT THE ADMIRALTY
IMPORTANT CHANGES ANNOUNCED
DISQUIETING NEWS OF RUMANIA
ENEMY MARCHING ON BUCHAREST
Important changes in the British naval high command have just been announced—Sir John Jellieoe goes to the .Admiralty as First Sea Lord,, and Sir David Beatty' hoists his flag on the Iron Duke as Commander-in-Chief of tho Grand Fleet. The significance of those changes remains to be seen. In the meantime tho news from Rumania is disquieting. The enemy is reported to have effected a junction of his armies, and is now advancing-on Bucharest. An, important railway junction has just been seized by him which secures control of the Alt system of communications. Tho Russians appear to have opened up a new offensive in tho-wooded Carpathians and Eastern. Transylvania. Tho news from tho other theatres is unim'portant.
