•THE CHAMPION AWARDS. By Telegraph—Press Association. " Dunedln, November 29. The Otago summer show opened toflay in showery weather. The entries of sheep, cattle,, and horses compared favourably, with those of recent years, and tho quality was excellent. A feature of the show was the fat cattle. The following championships were awarded:— Clydesdale Mare.—H. Watson (Tai. ■ Tapu); reserve champion, H. Watson. . Cattle—Shorthorn bull, John Nixon (Killinohy). Reserve • Champion: W. Waddell (Waikaka Valley. Cow: John Nixsn. Reserve Champion: Hon. Dr. M'Nab (Gore)'. Ayrshire Mull: A. Gillies (Hampden).. Reserve Champion: Weir Bros. (Pukehiki). Cow: Cowan Bros. (Enfield). Reserve Champion: A. Gillies. Holstein Friesian Bull: A. Brock (Merino Downs). Cow: A. Elworthy (jimaru). Channel Island:. H. Watson (Tai Tapu). Reserve Champion: F. E. Hellycr (N.E. Harbour). Cow: !g, Watson. Reserve Champion: H. Watson. Dairy Cow: M. Pryde(St. Leonards). Fat Bullock: 'Jas. Boag (Christchnrch). Cow: Hon. Dr. M'Nab. Sheep—Border Loicester Ram: T. S. Little (Windsor).
