CAMP NOTES

The following officers at Featherston have been transferred, as under:— Major J. E. Batten, from Reserve Company .to Headquarters Staff; Major H. R. Ryder, from Reserve Company to Headquarters Staff; Captain A. Fair-, bairn, from E. Company 21st to Headquarters Staff; 2nd Lieut. F. J. Brooks, Reserve Company to Details. The following temporary appointments have been approved by the Camp Commandant at Featherston:—Shoeingsmith Corporal M. M'Grath, 22nd M.R., to be farrier-sergeant; Gunner R. (x! Aitken, 18th N-Z-F-A., to bo saddler; Corpl. E. A. Radford, 23rd N.Z.F.A., to be quartermaster-sergeant; Lce.Corpl. F. W. Gough, Inf. M.G. Sect., 22nd Specialist Company, to be corporal; Lce.-Corpl. H. B. Morton,, Inf. M.G. Sect., 22nd Specialist Company, to he corporal; Pte. A. Curd, B Company, 22nd, to he corporal-bugler; Pte. C. C. Brydon, C Company, 22nd, to be lance-cornoral bugler. The following men havo beerr appointed buglers:—Ptes. J. M. Woolhnuse, O Company, 22nd; W. Rogers, B Company, 22nd; R,. H. Freeman, D Company, 22nd; J. E. Wood, E Companv, 22nd; S. M. Dunn, E Comnanv, 22nd ; C. Persson, F Companv, 22nd; B. T. Barnes, F Company, 22nd; G. Prince, J Companv, 22iid.'"
