FORECAST AND SUMMARY AT 1 P.M. YESTERDAY. Present indications are for high. we6t to south-westerly winds. Wcathor sumally, ■Willi heavy showers and probably colder aoon. Barometer risinc everywhere shortly. Atmospheric pressure has decreased in tho north, but though still low has increased in tho south. Westerly winds strong to gale have ruled, especially in and southward of Oook Strait. Cloudy and unsettled weather has prevailed, with heavy rain on all tho wostern coast.
