LIFE-SAVING SOCIETY
PRESENTATION OF CERTIFICATES.
A. total of 51 certificates have just been presented to members of tho Boys' Institute for proficiency in life-saving. Mr. G. S. Hill, chairman of the AVellington Head Centre, who made the presentation, congratulated tho boys on the success of their efforts and' the instructors on their work. A. great number of tho lads were non-swimmers three months ago, and it redounded to tho credit of the instructors and said a great deal for the Tepid Bath that thero are facilities for these boys to obtain such efficient instruction. , Mr. Hill presented tho following awards:— Elementary Certificates—Philip _ Scoringe, Harry W.
