4 The Secretary, General Post Office, has received from the Chief Postmaster, Auckland, the following letter and contents: — "To the Postmaster, "Auckland Post Office, "New Zealand. "Dear sir, —1 am 'sending to jour care a. note which I picked Tip on the beach this morning about 70 miles south of Adelaide, S.A. As I do not know where to send it to, I havo sent it on thinking that you would know where to send it. I would be very pleased to hear that it arrives safely. "Yours respeotfully, "GORDON HASTINGS." "November 7, 1916. "Address: M'Grath's Flat, via Meningie, South Australia." "12/3453 Pte. T. H. Rao (description) : 'Love to the Waikato, New Zea)and.' "12/3682 Pte. F. Vv'. Chambers (description): 'Love to Cambridge, Waikato, New Zealand.' "12/3804 Pte. W. A. Rutter (description): 'Regards Australia. Please see New Zealand papers receive a copy of • »'<3OD BAVE THE KING."
