SAILORS' FRIEND SOCIETY
An excellent concert was arranged for the seamen on Thursday night at tho Sailors' Friend Society by Miss M. Pickett. Tho programme included items by Mrs. Wrigliton, the Misses A. Pickett, E. Picliett', 31. Pickett, and 11. Pickett, and Messrs. L. Shaddick, A. Pickett, E. Barnett, C. Dalton. Miss H. Pickett was the accompanist, encores were the order of the evening. Mr. Mooro, Missioner, was in tho chairj and led the short story competition. Books were given to outwardbound crows.
