SALVATION ARMY BELGIAN WEEK
I . * Refuge work for the distressed Belgians has oocupied the attention of the Salvation Army, not only in Belgium,, but also in London, Holland, and Switzerland. The officers of the Salvation Army in Belgium have special facilities for the distribution of relief, and the whole of the amounts subscribed by the public is paid out on their behalf withoiit any deduction of expenses whatever, so that the full total collected will reach the Belgians. A special feature of "the Army's system of relief not only 6eeks to temporarily assist the many thousands who have eojne under their care, but specially aims at providing work for them, where possible, so that the benefit will not be merely temporary, but of a permanent character. In consideration of the above fact it is expected that there will be a generous response to the Salvation Army Belgian Week, as the needs of these bravo people are as great as over.
