I'ho latest to scoro for the Stcpniak horso is All Serene, who won the anal Handicap at Tim am yesterday, the same maro won at Amberley earlier in tho season. Before the weights appeared for the Auckland Cup J. O'Shea was engaged to ndo Blackall, but the Hastings gcldin" got in a few pounds lighter than was expected, and O'Shea will bo -unable to do the weight. Tho services of B. Reed have now been secured for All Black's 6011. B. Deoler will havo the mount on Mul. Imgar m tho Auckland Cup. The lightweight did not journey to tho Ashhurst meeting, but after riding on tho opening «ay ol tho Takapuna fixture will come south for the Feildiug meeting, where several of Mr. Greenwood's horses are engaged. A Press Association message from Sydney last night stated that Mr. Stead's horses, including Kilboy and Saanof.were shipped by tho Niagara, which sailed at (i.:! 0 p.m. for Auckland. It is understood that Mr. Friodlandor gave H. Young a present of .£2OO for riding Ardonvohr to victory in tho Now Zealand Cup. Porter, by Pallas-AUstone, who ran second in tho Winton Guineas, has joined E. Emctson's siring at Riccarton.
