WATERSIDER'S BALLOT
- * ; DELEGATES TO VISIT AUCKLAND. The ballot for the election of the four delegates who are to. represent the Wellington Waterside Workers' Union at the Waterside Workers' Conference, to bo held at Auckland on December 1, was completed last, evening. Mr. M. Carlsen acted as returning officer, and Messrs. J. Reid and A. Agnew were the scrutineers. Altogether 85G members voted, and out of these only 11 votes were informal. 1 The names of the candidates, with their respective numbers of votes, were-.— •T. G. Bruce (secretary to tho union)', 736; L. Glover, 485; L. Laurenson, 452; G. H. Gray; 358; P. Curtice. 291; E. Canhani, 231; P. Murnhy. 199j T. Briudlc, Ul; ,T. Anderson, 109; Jt. Gould, 74; G. T. Reid, Gl; T. .Tarvis, 51; T. Reynolds, 39; J. H. Jones, 3S. The representatives will be first four names on the list.
