DRIVERS' DISPUTE

, EMPLOYEES IN CONFERENCE. No move was made in the drivers' dispute yesterday. The employers sat in conference for practically the whole day, and adjourned to meet again at 10 o'clock this morning. A statement will probably be made as from the conference when it concludes its deliberations to-day. A meeting of members of the Well-' ington Drivers' Union is to bo held in the Trades Hall this evening to discuss the dispute. Preparations are being made for the taking of a ballot of members on the question" of whether or not tho men shall cease work in the event of the employers deciding to adhere to the award.
