SAILORS' FRIEND' SOCIETY
• Tho members of the A'ietoria College Glee Club gave another of their concerts to tho mon of the sea at the Sailors' Friend Society last evening. A feature of tho evening was the wellchosen glees given under tub haton of Miss Clachaii, M.A. Mr. Moore, missioncr, spolto on "AVho Killed i Five men signed tho pledge The competition was entered into with much zest, the prizes going to the s.s. AAaimaua. Olieors for the performers closed a cheery night. In .addition to tho club, items wero given hy the Misses Nicholls. Jennings, and Leitch, and Messrs. F. P. AVilson and Moise, and Shields, s.s. AVainmna.
