ANOTHER DASH FOR VENETIAN PLAIN
Australian-New Zealand Cable Association. Milan, November 16. There has been a-._.remarkabla renewal of activity by the enemy on the Trentino front, which is regarded as foreshadowing, another formidable Aus-tro-Hungariau offensive in the hope of breaking into tlio Venetian Plain and relieving the pressure on the Garso. Heavy reinforcements of artillery and infantry have been during tlio fortnight concentrating' in- the Trentino under the personal supervision of General von Hoetzendorff, who, despite his bitter experience, may still consider the Trentino the .most, favourable point for the invasion of Italy.-•■ Hungarian newspapers confirm the plans. Though regretting the weakening of the Transylvanian expedition, they boldly face- the' Italian menace.
