It was resolved that, a contract should bo let for-the excavation of the Constable Street Fire Brigade station site. Four electric lamps are to bo installed at tho Island Bay Band Rotunda': In consequence of the cost of constructing Sugar Loaf Road being less ?han Clio estimate, a proportionate refund is to bo made to the property-owners of tho difference between the amounts , levied on tho estimated cost, and what was actually exponded.
