BUILDERS' CONFERENCE
The annual conference of tlie New Zealand Builders anil Contractors' Federation, opened in Wellington on Tuesday, was concluded yesterday. Some general discussion took place concerning matters of interest to members of tho federation. An invitation was receive'd from the Christchurch Association to hold the next conference in Christchurch. The following officers were elected President, Mr. 11. J- Maynard (Christchurch); vice-president, Mr. L. Thompson (Wellington); treasurer, Mr. P. C. Watt (Wellington); secretary Mr W. A. Grenfell (re-elected); Executive Committee, Messrs. W. H. Bennett (president's representative), A. M. Wilson, and H. Mainland ; auditors, Messrs. A. H. Harbottlo and J. C. Brown; representatives on New Zealand Emoloyers' Federation, Messrs. W. L. Thompson (Advisory Board) and W. H. Bennett (Parliamentary Committee).
