T. E. THOMAS AND CO
One of the most popular and go-ahead firms in Wanganui is T. E. Thomas and Co., drapers and mercers. Tho promises, whioh arc fronted with largo plate-glass windows, and centred with an island window, are situated in Victoria Avenue, just below Ridgway Street. Thomas and Co., who have been established seven years, started with a staff of five, which has since been increased to over 40. They do all their own importing, thus being in a position to sell much cheaper than many other firms, and having the advantage of a very big range of 6tock. During tho show period this firm' is offering wonderful bargains in. standard goods. The mail order business conducted by this firm is a very extensive one, a special staff being kept busy in this department.
