A HINT TO DAIRY FARMERS. ' .AVith the dairying industry flourishing, it is to the advantage of the farmers to take overy opportunity not only to increase their yields by employing only the best milking strains, but in utilising the latest scientific devices for garnering tho precious fluid. Yet there are many dairy farmers still adhering to positively antediluvian methods in New Zealand. If they would bestir themselves and have a look at the "New Storrio" milking machine they would bo able to see how easily an improvement can be affected. These machines are claimed to he the last w;ord in economic dairying, and AA ? aiiganui dairy farmers are advised to make it a point to sec these fine labour-savers at the Show to be held to-day and to-morrow. . The local agents are Messrs. J. Young and Co.; of Taupo Quay, AA r angamii. The new Pennsylvania Combined Seed and Manure Drill is 'amongst tho exhibits, and is a machine to interest all laud cultivators. Mr.., Young' states that the makers use the "force feed fluted" style of~ grain feed, and, its principle being well known, they havo improved it specially for sowing not only grain, but peas, beans, and maize, without breaking or cracking.the seed. Tho regulation of the seed is simple and very effectivp. By means of one lever quantity of seed may bo. sown without change of gear. Another exhibit is the ; 'Storrie Perfect | Two-Row Horse Hoc," a machine thai, is the result of many years' testing. It will eradicate Californian thistle., weeds, etc., and is so easily worked that a boy caii manage it.
The "Storrio Patent Disc Ridgor" is another product for the farmer. The latest model has several improvements and should commend itself to users of this class of machine. —(Published by arrangement.)
