BOYS' INSTITUTE.

Tho Boys' Institute Baths continue to attract large numbers of boys weekly, and already a great number of Institute members have been taught to swim. On Friday evening last tho Royal Life-Saving Society examined the boys for life-saving certificates— in all, 51 certificates wero gained, inoluding 34 elementary, 14 proficiency, and 3 teachers'. It might bo moi> tioned that many of the boys who ' gained certificates could not swim a, singlo stroke prior to joining tbt Institute, yet not a single boy failed. During the last three months the boys of tho Institute have won no fewer than 107 life-saving certificates, a fact that speaks volumes for the good "work which is accomplishing.
