Messrs. Wright, Stephenson and Co., Ltd., report having held their fortnightly sale of sheepskins, hides, etc., on Friday. There was a good bench of buyers, and competition was exceedingly keen throughout the sale. Sheepskins showed an advance of from par to a farthing for good oombing skins. Hides wore firm at late rates, with the exception of calf skins, which were in very keen demand, realising from 2d. to 3d. above laßt Bale rates. Tallow was firm.
