JVT OTICE to heroby given that,_ at a ■J-' Special Meeting of tho Wellington City Council, held oil tlio 19th day of October, 191G, tho following ' resolution was passed;— Tho Wellington City Council hereby makes by Special Order the follow- ■ ing By-law, under tho provisions of the Municipal Corporations Act, 1908, "Tho Publ,c Health Act, 1908," and their amendments, and in exercise and pursuance of all other powers and'authorities (if any) enabling It in that bohalf. Tho Short Title of this By-law is "The Wellington City ..By-law (Fly Nuisance) No. 28, 1916." The object and purport of tho By-law are;—. •' (1) To amend tho Wellington City Bylaw No. 1, 19(18, by adding to Clause 251 thereof a Clause requiring tho occupier of cvory stablo in the City daily to spray all ma'nure on or about the premises with an approved mixture to the extent neccssarv to destroy all fly larvao. (2) By adding after Clauso 251 thereof, ara amended, iho following new clause, 251 A. 251 A. That if at any time fly larvaeare found in any manure In the City to such extent that in tho opinion of any Inspector of Nuisances the existence of such larvae causes danger to the public health, the occupier of the promises on which such manuro is situated shall be guilty of an offence against this By-law. And Notico is hereby further given that the said resolution will be submitted for confirmation at tho Ordinary Meeting of the Wellington City Council, to be held on THURSDAY, tho lGth day of NOVEMBER, 191G, at the Council Chamber, Town Hall, Cuba Street, Wellington, at 8 p.m., when the date on which tho said By-law will come> into forco will bo fixed.
