The Austrians are interning all male Serbs oyer fifteen years of age, with the obvious design of preventing any ■race increase. The Bulgarians have taken similar measures. The Austrian concentration camps aro crowded with males ol all ages, the healthy being mixed with the diseased. M. Milkitch, tho well-known Serbian author, estimates that during the war period one .million Serbian men, women, and children have perished.
