GERMAN OFFICIAL COMMUNIQUE.
Amsterdam, November 10. "'A German official communique asserts that the Russian lines near Skrobowa, on the Eastern front, wero stormed, and 3429 men were taken prisoner. (R-ec. November 12, 5.5 p.m.) Amsterdam, November 11. A German official communique states:—"Russian counter-attacks at Skrobowa failed. The Germans penetrated the Russians' main positions at Naraiuvka, south-weat of Joletkoas nolisie." A BIG BATTLE IMMINENT GREAT; ACTIVITY BY THE ENEMY IN THE NORTH. (United Service.) (Rec. November 11, 2.60 p.m.) . Petrograd, November 10. There is evidence that a tremendous Russo-German conflict is imminent. Great activity by the Germans i s noticeable south of Dvinsk, and a report that the Crown Prince has been appointed to the command of a group of armies on the north-east front is exciting comment. The Russians have taken over the control of seventy-eight miles of.the Rumanian front south of Dorna Vatra, aad the Russians' efforts may he directed against Guonziane in the hope of separating the enemy's left flank from his centre. ' '
