The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Co., Ltd., report that at their weekly stock &alo, held at Levin, on Tuesday, they submitted a good entry of sheep and a heavy yarding of cattle to <i. large attendance of buyers. The ©ale was good throughout, and they have to report practically a clearance. A pen of extra prime fat ewes (shorn). offered on account of the ®*P ei 'i®cntal Farm, realised 355. 4d. ' Spod store ewes, 31s. 5d.; medium hoggets, 335. 6d. to 30s. 9d.; fat heifers, £10 2a. 6d., £10 ; 10s.; £13 Bs.; fat cows, £11 55., £12 .55.; .forward condition cows, £8 155., £9 95.,- £9 175.; store cows. £7 10s., £8 35.; cows with calves, £9 195., £11; 2i-year steers, £9 175.; yearling steers, £5 165., £6 195.; yearling heifers. £5 10s., £5 12«. 6d., £5; 155.; 2-year'empty heifers, .£6 10s.; springing heifers, £6 to £10 195.; l'2 : montJia "bulls, £5 45., £5 10s.; good store pigs, 275. 6d. to 345. 6d.; fat porkers, £2 Is. to £2 4s. At the Waikanae' sale, on Wednesday, Messrs, Balycly and Co., Ltd., offered a small yarding of sheep and cattle. Owing to the exceptionally wet. day a number of the lines advertised, did j*ot come forward. The sales effected were:—Springing heifers.. £8. to £8 lla.i light-weight fat heifers, £10 lis.; forward empty cows, £11 10s.; Holstein . Bull, £14.

Wright, Stephenson and Co., Ltd., report on their Warpoua sale, of Wednesday, s follows:—A Email yarding of sheep and cattle came forward. .Competition under the hammer was very keen, and everything offered was sold at rates in advance of lote Ealc©. Following arti the prices recorded:—Mixed aged woolly ewes and lambs, £2' 4s. 6d.; shorn fat ewes, 0O3.; 'shorn fat wethers,-305.; potter rams, 265.; forward empty cow 6, £11.
