The latest contribution was £50 from the Manawatu Patriotic Society, and' it was reported that as tho result of an effort by tho Napier branch a sum of £150 would be short-

ly added to the fund. It was decided to mako a substantial grant to the Catholic chaplain of tho Nineteenth Reinforcements for stationery for the use of the men on the transport. Tbtj sum of £10 was voted towards i'ffraying the expenses in with the Trentham Entertainment Committee. \
