PRESS CRITICISM OF THE ADMIRALTY
. AT LOGGER-HEADS WITH THE] AIR BOARD Australian-New Zealand Cable Association. (Rec. November 7, 10.20 p.m.) London, November 7. There is considerable criticism in a section of the Press over recent actions of the Armiralty, particularly since the German destroyers' raid. It is also known that the Admiralty is at loggerheads with the Air Board, and the old competition for machines is going on. Several resignations are threatened. The critics question whether Mr. Balfour and Admiral Jackson are a good combination, and suggest that a.more active body of naval advisors, or a chief with more initiative and force, is required.
