CAMP NOTES

On Monday evening a concert was given in the social hall of the Anzac Club, . Featberston, by the Camp Trumpet Band, Orchestra, and Concert Party, under the management of Sergt. Christie. The programme was a very good one, and most of the performers were recalled. Songs were rendered bv Q.M.S. CreweSj Sergt. Gveenhow, Corpl. 11. J. Christie, Corpl. Mays, Pte. Strang, and Mr. Ruthefurd; cornet selections were given by Sergt. Christie, Trumpeter 6. D. Christie, and Trumpeter Rowle danced a hornpipe. Sergt. Heap was the accompanist. The following temporary appointments have been approved by the Camp Commandant ut Featherston: —Acting S.M. L. A. S. Howe, Details, to be temporary quartermaster-sergeant; Pte.'J. W. Shepherd, '23rd M.R., to bo orderly room clerk.
