A STORMY DAY
With the exception of the East. Coast, where the weather lias remained dry, the country lias been enveloped in a wet blanket, with the added discomfort of a heavy nor'west blow. In the city and "ififnct flic rain fell in driving showers, but it was a warm, drenching rain that brightened tho green of the new spring growth. High winds from west to sou'-west are expected t-o continue, 'wTCTi rain, but the glass will probably rise soon.
