CITY CRICKET
MEETING OF THE EXECUTIVE.
J lie oxecutivo of tho AVellington Cricket Association met last evening. 1 here-"wore present:—Messr. C. CI. AVilson (chairman), Hewitt, D. M'Konzie, I<\ A. Midlane, Y. B. Willis, and M. J. Crombie. , _ It was decided to instruct the. Wellington delegate to tne Now Zealand Council to support a proposal to reduce the fee payablo annually by associations to tho council from £5 to £1 Is.
The treasurer was- instructed to render ground fees' accounts at the conclusion of every round of senior matches. The fees arc to bo payable before the commencement of the next round.
It was resolved that the Old Boys Wellington College junior fixture, which was postponed last Saturday on account of the bad weather, should be declared a one-day match, and be played next Saturday.
A request is to be made to all players using tho Basin Reserve to play in proper cricketing shoes. The Base Records Club was granted the use of a dressing-room in the pavilion.
