MAGISTRATE'S COURT
Mr. L. G. Reid, S.M., presided in the Magistrate's Court. For disobeying maintenance orders, William Mitchell and Jack Berg were ordered to make good arrears or undergo one month's imprisonment. A case against-Nellio Parris for alleged theft of £5 belonging to Edward Young was adjourned till November 13. John Pearson .was fined £5 for molesting his wife while, a separation order was in force. Clara Zanders applied for separation from her husband, William Zandors, on tho ground of cruelty. Separation and maintenance orders were made. , Robert O'Leary was fined 10s. for in' sobriety. Robirh-M'Farlane was charged with having kept No. 72 Riddiford Street as a common gaming bouse. Ho was re; manded till November 13., Isidore Jacobus was fined £1 for breaking a prohibition, order.
