In tho Supremo Court to-day Kwong Sang, who practised as a Chinese doc■tor at Balclutha, was. convicted on a charges of obtaining money by falso pretences, and was sentenced to three years' imprisonment. Major Samuel George Mee, an old man, was convicted on a charge of indecent assault on a little girl at Oamaru, and was sentenced to seven years' imprisonment.
