Official.—-Sir Bryan Mahon has been appointed Commander-in-Chief in Ireland, vice Sir John Maxwell, who is assuming the northern command. The Grand Cross of the Bath has teen conferred on Sir John Maxwell. Sir Reginald Wingate will succeed Sir Bryan Mahon as High Commissioner in Egypt.
