NOTICE is hereby given that at a Special Meeting of tho Wellington City Council, held on tho 13th day of October, 191G, the following resolution tva.s passod:— The Wellington City Council heroby makes by Special Order tho following By-law, under tho provisions of tho Municipal Corporations Act, 1908, "The PubLc Health Act, 1908," and their amendments, and in exercise and pursuance of all other powers and authorities (if any) enabling it in that bohalf. The Short Title of this By-law is "The Wellington City By-law (Fly Nuisance) No. 28, 1916." The objeot and purport of the By-law are:— (1) To amend the Wellington City Bylaw No. 1, 1808, by adding to Clause 251 thereof' a Clause requiring the occupier of every stable in tho City daily to spray all manure on or about the premises with an approved mixture to the extent necessary to destroy all fly larvae. (2) By adding after Clause 251 thereof, aa amended, the following new clause, 251 -A. 251 A. . That if at any time fly larvae are found in any manure in the City to such extent i that in the opinion of any Inspector of Nuisances tho existence of such larvae causes danger to tho public health, the occupier of the premises on which such manuro is situated shall bo guilty of an offenco against this By-law. And Notice is hereby furthor given that the said resolution will bo submitted for confirmation at tho Ordinary Meeting of the Wellington City Council, to be held on THURSDAY, the 16th day of NOVEMBER, 1910, at the Council Chamber, Town Hall, Cuba Street, Wellington, at 8 p.m., when the date on which tho said By-law will come into forco will be fixed. A full copy of this By-law is deposited at the office of the Town Clerk to the Baid Council, at tho Town Hall, Cuba Street, and may be inspected there by all persons during tho ordinary office hours.
