X : large meed of praise is due to tho energetio secretary, Mr. A. Wil-. flams, who is now in his twelfth year in that honorary capacity, and Mr. Albert Wells, who has made an'oxcellent'and indefatigable-chairman of committees. In' ringing down tho curtain for the 1916 season, presentations of medals were made to boys of the winning teams of tho various schools. Messrs. A. Williams,\W. Auld, and H. He mentioned -the fact that they, wore, an. undefeated team, and considering the opportunities alforded City schools for practice and cohesion their: (Porirua.'s) want- of this added still further merit to their success.
