FURTHER APPOINTMENTS. The following appointments, promotions, and resignations have been approved:— Fourth Otago Regiment. William Fleming, to' he major, vice Major Wolstenholme, killed in action. Tenth (North Otago) RegimentCaptain Donald Thomson, to be major;, Lieut. Peter Mackenzie, to be captain. Fourteenth (South Otago) Regiment. —Captains D. Colquhoun and W. Domigan, to be majors; Lieut. J. M'Crae, to bo captain. Chaplains' Department.—V enerahlo Archdeacon Harry chaplain of the Forces (second class), is posted to the Retired List. Very Rev. Dean A. R. Fitchett, chaplain to the Forces (fourth class), retires as from. August 25. 1916.
The following chaplains are appointed for duty on the hospital ship Marama (second charter) Key. W. E. Gillam, Rev. D. Dutton, llev. T. B. Segrief. ''
